Jack MacLaren was elected a director of the Canadian Justice Review Board at its annual general meeting September 15, 2010.

Jack graduated from Queen's University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He also operates a 174 year old family farm in West Carleton.

He was (unitl October 2010) the president of the Ontario Landowners Association where he successfully advocated for and protected the rights of individuals, changed public perceptions, and influenced government policy to the benefit of the people of Ontario. He was the first president of the Carleton Landowners Association and serves on many agricultural committees.

Mr. Maclaren brings to the Board the concerns of property owners who are becoming much more determined to protect their legal property rights.
